IAT sensor on new aluminum elbow how to mt

how do i put the IAT sensor in the threaded hole on my new aluminum elbow..

Which elbow are you using? I know Vortech says you have to remove the ridges from the IAT sensor to install it. I had to do that as well as open the hole a bit to get mine in when I had that elbow.

Ya know it isn't completely necessary.
Ya can open/close the blades to make it idle.

True, but what does that have to do with the Idle Air Temperature sensor?
