IAT Q's

How do you know if this is bad? My car runs fine in the morning and at night (AF gauge works) but during the heat of the day it runs crappy, hesitation, stuttering, etc (AF gauge is straight black). I looked at my IAT and it LOOKED clean. also, does anyone know the part number for it?

Unplug your MAF. It will throw you into open loop and you will be able to tell if your hesitation during hot days is caused by a bad sensor or something else.

Don't drive around too much like this though.

Unplug the MAF and start the car. The computer will run the car in Open loop.
