IAC plug
IAC plug
Took off my throttle body and found a GUNKY/DIRTY/NASTY build up all behind my throttle body and at the front of the intake. Cleaned it all up with some carb cleaner, looks really nice now. Hope it runs better.
However, upon taking off my throttle body, I unplugged all the sensors and noticed that the plug that goes into the IAC valve was melted some. It was even missing part of the piece that goes around the prongs. Anyone know somewhere I can order this particular plug....and has anyone ever experienced this sort of thing before? No wonder my car would idle so poorly after it heated up.

Car would not start for some reason after re-installing the throttle body and all the plugs. Put my old battery on charge, decided it was probably bad....and got a new battery.
New battery didn't fix anything, car still wouldn't crank. Bought a reman starter from auto parts store...tried firing it up, the starter motor came on and was running, but the solenoid did not turn the flywheel, and the motor didnt crank. Checked all my connections, everything was where it should be. Im completely miffed here. Gonna trade this starter out for another one tomorrow, and see what happens I guess. Gonna have to drop my exhaust AGAIN.
any suggestions gladly welcomed...
