Iac numbers ?
Iac numbers ?
my car has been pullin a code po506 (i think that was it) when i use the ac. the iac numbers are 119 counts without it on and 130 with it on. the idle is at about 600 with the ac on also. it seems perfect with the ac off, just once you turn it on it messes up. are these numbers right? if not how do i fix them? ps the tps voltage is just right if you needed to know that.

At idle, no A/C you should be seeing counts in the range of 20-40. Yours seems too high. What is a "just right" TPS voltage?
Sounds like the IAC motor may not be working correctly, or the IAC passage in the throttle body, or the pintle on the IAC motor may be carboned up. The scanner is telling you what counts the PCM it trying to move the IAC valve to. There is no feedback as to whether it is actually in the commanded position.
You don't mention whether the engine has any modifications, so we can't tell if there might be some reason like a huge cam that is affecting the idle speed/IAC counts.
