IAC motor fitment

Will this fit my 1996?

AC Delco 217-429

Does it have to be the 217-433?

I'm sure it will bolt on, but I would go with the one that is specified, which is the 217-433. Why would you not?

I can get the 217-429 brand new for $20 plus shipping. So will it work?

I've always wondered what the differant part #'s were for the IAC's... The TB looks the same on all of them and the connectors are all the same too.

Well it's an ebay vendor that says:

This is a new Idle Air Control Motor for 1994-1997 LT1, LT4, and L99 engines found in 1994-1997 Camaros and Firebirds, 1994-1996 Caprices, Roadmasters and Impala SS, an 1994-1996 Corvettes. These are new. AC Delco part number is 217-429.
