Failed o2 (reading below 150mV)?

Normal driving today, car started running like CRAP.

Threw right bank 02 lean code.

Logged it for a minute, got into closed loop and the right o2 at startup was reading the correct .450v, but as soon as it heated it barely fluctuated, but everything was below .150 volts.

So anyone ever seen one fail like that?

Tomorrow ill switch left to right bank o2s and see what follows. Hopefully i dont have a blown exhaust gasket or something more serious.

Just wondering if anyone else had seen one read like that and what was the cause.

I've never seen one fail like that... then again, never seen one just up and fail overnight like that either

First for me too. I have seen them not read a full range of volts or slowly jump back and forth, but never one just consistently read so lean. It went from running great one start to crap the next.

My Bosch O2s did the opposite...they were constantly reading rich and kept stalling the engine since the ECM was constantly pulling fuel. They were swinging back and forth though (although still too high), so we figured that they were OK. Delco O2s fixed the problem.

mm talking about 02 failing. Well it happened to me tonight, The last couple day i was getting o2 right and left lean code, also i was getting a high ras, code, i fixed all the codes now a new one came up Code 13 o2 fail, i have replaced the o2 sensors before, But i guess i have to do it again... now i have to wait to see what code is next to pop up, i only have 3 more runs on my datamaster before it locks me out and have to buy the full version.. Man i know one thing datamaster will be worth the money though

yeah, 02's fail like that alot. mine did exactly the same thing. only no codes. hard to figure out which was the bad sensor cause it didnt set any codes, and did switch lean/rich.
mine would stumble really bad as soon as it hit closed loop. that was the only reason I knew something was wrong, and traced it to the same time it hits open loop, then thougth to look really closely at the o2 sensors. oh, and the LTFT's.
