Not so, the dyno compensates for gearing if it's set up properly. If you don't believe this, try it in different gears. There will be small differences related to frictional loss in the different gears, but nothing more than a few hp. I know, because I have done it many times.

It was a joke.... it's a spammer. Same guy that posted as "eldercaddy" and got banned.

 

To give you an idea, my car put down 349 to the wheels on a mustang dyno with 0 miles on the engine. We basically went through a break in procedure on the dyno and did not rev past 5900. There is definitely more in it.

I run a very small cam from AI that passes NYC emissions and their 200cc stock ported heads. Car drives like stock, has a very broad power band and has an auto.

With a slightly more aggressive cam and an M6, 400 rwhp is no problem.

 

what cam did you use

 

broke 400whp many moons ago.....cc 306 cam, stock ported heads, 58mm TB, full exhaust intake,tune,etc....Then I blew head gasket, had to buy new heads

 

Intake, cam( be sure to replace your valve springs), rocker rollers too, long tubes, full exhaust, injectors, good head work( minimum 75 bhp assuming their done right), and tune. Your rear end and clutch should hold just fine but gears will help you get off the line faster.
