In addition to everything else that's wrong with my car i just had two more things start acting up. (not at the same time though) Im hoping maybe yall can help me out.

1.) OBDII Code P0100: MAF circuit malfinction.
I had a buddy "acquire" for me a new MAF and MAP sensor and I am still getting that code. It's not in any manual I have. Any ideas?

2.) Tranny shifting problems (A4)
Sometimes the tranny wont shift out of first until around 3 grand. It's not consistent at all. on occasion if i shut the car off and start her up again it will stop. I've already replaced the TPS. Is it possible that my replacement was faulty and if so how do i know if the car only acts up whenever it feels like. Also i've dropped the pan (it was time for a filter and flush anyways) and the fluid looked and smelled OK.


I really need yalls help with this. For some reason the cops around here don't like when you chirp 2nd in a 25MPH residential area.

 

Both codes are probably related. Sounds like a problem in the electrical harness

 

I used to have Hypertech's power tuning and shift firmness program installed. Now i just use it to accomodate my new gear ratio. Is it possible that might have something to do with it?

 

i forgot to ask on the last post, how do you check the harness?
