I need a tune....

What information do I need to supply to get a tune? Do I need to supply information on head porting, rear end gears, etc? I assume the cam specs would have to be given. Duh, but besides that.

Who should I get a tune from? How much will it cost?

I am going from a cc305 setup with comp springs to a gm847 setup with comp 987's. Besides that, I'm changing my exhaust from flowmaster american thunder with y-pipe to dr.gas x-pipe with dynomax bullets. I am also changing my wheels from 16" to 17" all the way around. Oh yea, and my connecting rods are 6", not 5.7". Will that matter. I went to Ross and they said that if you're using a 90450 piston, you're supposed to use a 5.7" rod. Lastly, my compression ratio will be going from 10.8 to 11.2.

I was told by a friend that someone named madz? would do a mail-in tune for $40. Is this true?

Madz28 does very good tunes from what I hear. So does pcmforless. On their website is a order form that ask you all those questions...www.pcmforless.com
I am suprised that you didn't have a tune for the cc305 you were running???

Re: I need a tune....

I bought the motor with the cc305 and pcm as a package. I think it had a pcmforless tune already on it.

Too bad your not closer to charlotte.

We can have bryan load you up a tune and I can fine tune it on the dyno here.

Call Jeff and ask. He really isn't that far from you either. Put it on the dyno and do it right.

Re: I need a tune....

$99

$50 if you have your own cable.

The dyno time is what cost so much and Bryan included it in the price.
