Unhappy I need some ideas, guys!

Well, I have not been on here in a long time. I was looking at my car the other day and thinking of all the things that I want to do to him. I have no idea where to begin... Can you guys help me! PLEASE!!! I'm stuck... I know that I want to start with the engine (duh) but what should I do? My goal is to bring it up to where a '93 Camaro should be and then a little farther. I'm not a racer, but I want him to be able to kick some random ricer's *ss... Oh, and street legal. I appreciate all ideas and what not. Thanks!

Two of the best beginner mods would be a cold air intake and a catback exhaust. After that, I would start to consider headers, a mail order tune, roller rockers, and valve springs. Is your car an automatic or a manual? If you have an automatic, an aftermarket torque converter and tranny cooler will make a big difference. Also, gears for the rear axle is also another option. There are lots of things you can do to these cars, it just depends on how much and how far you are willing to go.

He's not a Z28, just a plain, stock, automatic Camaro.

You may want to ask this in the v6 forum then. Intake and catback are still good beginner mods.

93 3.4 Camaro?

Yikes. Trade it in for a 93 Z28.. shouldn't cost you much to upgrade at this point.

To make a 3.4 quick enough to compete with "rice" these days is going to take gobs of money.
