I need some help with this fuel pressure problem???
Hi guys. I have a fuel pressure problem on my monte ss with the lt1. Motor has about 100,000 miles. I did a fuel pressure check and it's not holding pressure. It goes to 35 then dips to 0. I already had the fuel pump changed a few months ago so that's new. I changed my fuel pressure regulator and my injectors to the ones I took off from my TA and the problem is still there though not as bad. Pressue goes from 35 to 10 then slowly dips. I'm getting tons of wash down, the fuel is definitely leaking into the cylinders cause I just drained almost 5 quarts of gas out of my oil pan!
I know the parts were working before I took them off the TA. I wonder if it could be something electrical? I put a scanner on it also and everything seems normal. When I start it, the exhaust smells like unburned fuel and smokes. I found no traces of coolant in the oil, only gas. I'm stumped. Please help. Sorry for the long post.

Re: I need some help with this fuel pressure problem???
you have either a stuck injector or an electrical fault causing the injector/s to remain open. You can either pull the rail up and prime the key and see which one/s are leaking down or you can get a noid light or test light and first see if your getting the signal to open the injector/s without cranking the motor. Could be either situation.
