I need help choosing a cam. Any suggestions???

I like the price of the hotcam kit. But I don't want any regrets knowing I could have gone bigger. The question is how much bigger can I go? My mods are in my sig. I'm looking for a good mid-range/top end cam. I don't want to rev the engine past 6000/6200. One last thing, is it necessary to change the lifters when doing a cam change? My main goal is to run low 12's on stock heads. Any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

the question is how much streetabilty do you want? my xe224/230 is very tame to me, maybe the XE227/230 would work for you? stock lifters are working fine for me.....shift points for both cams should be around 6100-6300rpm

Your right about streetability QCKZ28. I forgot to mention my car is daily driven and needs to pass emissions.

I think the CC305 will just get you by on emissions with the proper tune But I would go with the CC306 or something similar like the ZZ409 but im I dont know to much about it and try to find yourself a way around emmisions..

..... I don't want to rev the engine past 6000/6200.
Those statements are a contradiction if you are looking for max performance. If you just want the lope of a big cam then thats another story.
