Where are you located first off, and what type of help are you looking for? Does the engine turn at all? If it has sat for a year and had a blown head gasket and coolant got into the cylinders, will not be good news. I would start with the basics, do a compression test of all cylinders, then go from there. If you are mechanically inclined, after doing a compression test, take the intake and cylinder heads off, send the heads off to be checked and then reassemble. Again, we're here to help, but need to know how to help.

A head gasket repair alone will run some money if done by a shop. That is also without knowing what other kind of damage has been possibly been done to the motor.

Not sure why adding oil would hydrolock it. Pull the spark plugs out, THEN try and turn it over, watching to see what comes out of the plug holes. If the entire rotating assembly is siezed up, its going to be a much more expensive proposition than you may be prepared for.

A blown head gasket does not warrant an oil leak. The person you bought this from is a moron.
Either put some good plugs in it and try to fire it up or tear the engine apart to see if there is anything wrong. Either way it's going to cost you money.
