one way to tell if the pump is working is to rev the engine with the radiator cap off. you should be able to see the water move when you rev the engine.

 

wont that get air in the system??
i just checked again if air was still there and there was just a bit of it maybe 5sec untill i had to close the bleeders so thats is fixeded i still need to put some more coolant but ill do that tomorrow.
ill check the pump tomorrow to by revving he car and looking at rad.
what things can i get to make my car cooler. will a 160 stat help ? ty

 

Take the "T" stat and put it in a pot of water on the stove and see if it opens at the right time.
If it is slow to open that is your problem. Try running it with NO T stat and see if it does it and that will tell ya..
