Angry I Have A Problem

HEY EVERYBODY,
I have a problem. I ordered a vigilante 2800 stall from speed, inc. The part # number on their site is. piv239015.
I tried having it installed at a shop, and said it the spline doesn't match, it's the wrong one. I called speed, inc. 2day and told them and they said if i was sure i had a 4l60 trans, of course i do it's a '94 z28. Well, i can return it, and get socked with a 20% restocking fee, which bites. or i can wait till may 1st, so they can find out that it's the wrong one. I mean, i even called precision industries and they said it was the wrong one. They said the vig 2800 stall is part# 259015. I mean precision told me this. They make the damn thing. They told me the one i got is for a 200r4 trans. So what am i to do. I'm stuck with this thing. I don't want to wait till may for speed inc to fit me in to try to install it. I need some help guys, I'm a cool, calm person, but i'm pissed right about now. I just want the right one, that's it. Can anybody help me out? need suggestions.
Thanks
rough day
Thanks

That seems a bit unsat to me. If the part number on their site is incorrect and they don't even know it, I don't think they should charge you a restocking fee! In fact, what I would expect is:

They take your credit card number and send out a new Vig but don't charge your card. They send along with the UPS guy a pick-up tag. The UPS guy delivers new Vig and takes wrong Vig right there. If you decide to not give up the wrong Vig then Speed Inc. charges your card (most places you have 14 to 30 days to return product). You get the correct one and don't have to pay to ship the old one back.

It would be one thing if it were your error but, based on your side of the story, you seem to have a clear cut "case". good luck

just check out their site, and you'll see. Don't take my word for it, check it out. ls1speed.com under transmissions.
Man this bites, they said i can't return it, they'll give me store credit, and charge 20% restocking fee, which comes out to roughly $140 f**k that, that's b.s. i mean precision even told me that part # is wrong. It's 259015
They made me look like i was a dumb *** not cool.
I just want to exchange for the right one or give me the credit on the credit card.
