I have a few problems!!
I have a few problems!!
First problem. I been checking my plugs and they have like a grayish color to it. Im thinking this is normal. The thing is #2 plug keeps getting this blackish crud in between the electrode. I already swapped #1 injector for the #2 but the same result happens to #2. I do have accell 24# injectors which is stock replacement. Oh and all of them have this black crud around the edge of the plug, a light coat. Only number two gathers it in chunks to the point it wont fire. I got a new opti, new coil and new ICM. I am using NGK TR6s (not sure on that but i know im using one step colder. So tr6 or tr5s forgot which is the colder one). My plug wires have no more then 15k on them. Oh one more thing. When i have my cutout open i hear the normal beat of the exhaust but then I also hear a few pops go off. My car never backfires, i only hear it during idle.
Second problem. After i fixed my intake leak i noticed my oil pressure at WOT is at 40psi. I dont know if its a coincidence or not that I noticed it after. My pressure at WOT used to be in between the 40 and last mark. Idle is around 19 to 20. I also have been using AutoRx, an engine cleaner. Dissovles the crud in your motor very slowly so that it wont break chunks and damage your engine. At the sametime i fixed my intake leak i did an oil change which was the rinse cycle step for this product. So i dont know if this had anything to do with it. If i had oil crud built up would that cause the higher pressure and after it got cleaned away then i got lower pressure? I do change my oil every 3000 to 3500. So i dont think my engine was that dirty. Im hitting close to 110k on the motor now.
Third problem. I noticed I am leaking brake fluid in between the reservoir and the brake booster. I did take this apart when i was doing my shocks but I didnt see any fluid come out of it then. So what would actually be leaking? The reservoir or the booster?

Re: I have a few problems!!
the crud is ash from burning oil, probably the valve stem seal for the #2 intake valve
the brake fluid leak is the master cylinder, but you should replace both, the rubber diaphram in the booster doesn't like brake fluid

Re: I have a few problems!!
ya i kinda thought i was using a bit of oil. How can i tell if its the valve seal or the rings? Cause wouldnt both of those cause that bit of crud? Funny thing is when i first did my plugs i got lots of crud on #2 within a very short time. Now its been months since i checked and its only a tiny spec and i dont have bad knock like i used to.
