that it. i totally had it with my lt1 in the sig. the car ran just fine, all of the suddem it wont start. i replaced the opti, coil, plugs, wires, fuel pump, icm, all this bull zhit that is driving me crazy. Today i used my beater to push it into the garage for good. maybe in summer the bastard will revive.

who knows....

 

So what is it doing? Is it trying to crank over and just seems like it's not getting fuel? Does it sound like the starter is working at all? There's a reason for it not working - just have to dig a bit to find out.

 

the starter was also replaced...it cranks really good then you hear a couple bang in the engine intake and it wont start...sometimes you have to try to start with the key about 15 times so that it can start cranking....the starter is brand new..

 

sounds like either the opti is off a tooth or two or the timing chain jumped how many miles on it P.S. check compression
