I found some pacesetter shorties for 249, should i get them?????

I found some pacesetter shorties for 249, should i get them?????

What kind of gain would i see and are they any good. I need headers badly.

But i heard it takes a long time to get them and you also have to buy a new y-pipe. With the shorties, you could use the stock y-pipe.

I've heard the pacesetter shorties quality is crap. Save your money until you have enough for some longtubes. TRUST ME. If you get shorties you will eventually switch to LTs.

Why are they so crappy. What kind of gain do u see with them. Does anyone know.

I put the pacesetter shorties on over a year ago and have had absolutely no issues with them at all. They will DEFINATELY give you gains over stock manifolds....how much I don't know.....never dyno'd...but you can feel it. From what all the experts tell me long tubes will definately make more power up top...but not much difference down low. When I turn my car into a weekend only track car I will upgrade to long tubes...till then these shorties will do just fine.

Everybody that used to have them said that the welds were poor, bolt holes were misaligned and filled with weld slag, etc.
