The rocker arms were installed by a buddy of mine who worked at comp cams and graduated from NADC. We have checked them twice and they are dead on. I am also thinking that it might be the opti. Going back to the old days when you had like a burnt spot on the cap or a bad connection from the rotor to the cap you would have enough spark and low throttle but at WOT it would misfire. I would have already removed the cap and check it all out but I don't have the funds at the moment to get an MSD kit so I am holding off till I do.

Yeah It only does it at WOT...I can run the gears all the way to redline at 3/4 throttle and not have a problem at all!!!!!

Really the rear end....I can't see that....would have to have some type of slippage somewhere? Now when the posi unit was bad could you still pull posi burnouts. Just curious!

I think i found the problem but for sure. I was all over that thing this last weekend trying to find what it was. I fixed one thing (not saying for sure yet just in case it wasn't it) and took it out and had no problem what so ever. It also seems to have gained about 20-30hp after what i did but it shouldn't have. It is weird if it fixed it. Will give an update tomorrow for sure after i go on the normal journey to work.

Check it out just finished my le2 setup was having the same issue. may sound dumb but with the big cam and the heads sucking more air it was sucking my air tube shut. check it out my car was only giving me till 4gs give or take a few hundred. I have the ram air system not sure what you have just check your air box to tb connection, make sure not brittle, i squeezed mine and found my missing 3gs lol.

 

What i did fixed it and it shouldn't have. But now i know the problem. Around the time i did all the rocker arms and push rods I did the throttle body bypass. On the driver side you have the water feed line on the throttle body and it was unplug (from what I understand is normal) but I decided to plug it the other day just for looks and that is what fixed the problem....LOL Can you say cracked throttle body.....LOL Some how and I can't find it I was sucking in air through that water passage which is strange considering I didn't have a problem before but It fixed the problem. I will promised you all that I finally got to feel the effects of mods that I have done in the last six months. I was impressed!!!!! My wife bought me this car from my neighbor. They owned this car ever since i moved here and all i ever did was talk about how i wanted it and after 2 years she bought if for me. I told her I wasn't ever going to sell it but I almost had enough with the damn thing. I had a for sale sign and about put it in it until now. That sign is going in the garbage. Thanks everyone.

 

I have the moroso CAI with aluminum elbow. The reason I bought the aluminum elbow was because I thought that might be the problem as well with the stock elbow but it still happened.

Also guys here are some passes the night the problem started. It was when i left that night is when it started. Keep in mind this was with stock manifold and exhaust, 1.6 rockers, CAI, 3.73 gears on ET streets launching at full throttle but letting off to 3/4 throttle so it would shift.
