i cant even bypass my tb!!!!
Re: i cant even bypass my tb!!!!
yes i did it!...
I cut the ****er up between the bend and the tb jawn. It looks kinda sketchy but it doesnt seem to be leaking at all.
I noticed that after i take my foot off the gas i coast a lot easier. Other then that my idle is a little more steady and thats all ive noticed.
While i was doing this i replaced my fuel filter and poured in some injector cleaning. This is the extent of the work (plus the elbow) that i have done since i got my car.

Re: i cant even bypass my tb!!!!
Looking at www.shbox.com I was like, holy crap thats so easy, could probably take 5 minutes! I ended up removing the ps valve cover alternator, and alternator support and some vaccum lines, took a ridiculous amount of time for moving a hose.
Re: i cant even bypass my tb!!!!
Yeah you haev to move the alt support, unplug a few plugs and move a couple vacuum lines. I then just cut the elbow with a knife and used pliars to wriggle the piece off the steam pipe. Then I bent the steam pipe up just a tad to make it easier to put the new hose on, then reassembled. Took 10-15 minutes.
