I go with my little tb bypass kit thing i organized and i go to do it... Its all going well until that tube on the left of the TB. Now how the hell do you get that thing off? I could barely get the pliers down in there.. I removed two of the tubes going into the TB to get more room and i could grab the clamp on the tube but couldnt pull it off... it is really frustrating me and my manhood disapeared before my very eyes. Any tips on getting that thing off?

 

I just cut my tube off with a sharp knife.

Just remove your TB and see if you can swing it out enough to get to the clamp. Oh please tell me you didn't buy a "kit" to do the TB bypass.

 

nah i grabbed some stuff from home depot... if i cute the tube.. there will still be some on there so do i just try and rip that little bit off so i can put my plug on it? also the tube is weird... its like tube... clamp 90 degree elbow.. then clamped to tb... is that the right one? and if so where do i cut

 

You need to take off the supports for the Altenator so you'll have more room
then just cut the hoses

just start at the beginning of the hose and cut strait down it until u feel the end of the nozzle
Once the hose is split it will come right off

Hose is cheap, what are you afraid of messing up

 

On my '97 I removed the alternator supports and moved some vacuum lines. Then I just cut the tube off of the metal steam pipe and connected the other one straight on. There's still a little piece of the tube on my TB but I dont give a rats ***.

You can actually bend the steam pipe up a little bit if you're REALLY careful.

I don't remember if 95s are different or not, I know 94s are different.

 

I just cut my, the caps to go back on the TB are optional, so I didnt put them on

You mean you have to buy stuff to do this? I just cut the stupid hose and reconnected the other one....you guys got me all confused with this buying stuff.

You don't have to cut it. Get a screwdriver under the hose end and shoot some WD40 into the gap, give it a few twists and it pops right off.

 

i can barely get my fingers down there and with the tb there how do you manage to wedge a screwdriver under it?
