I am a little dissapointed with my first 1/4 time tonight.

First off let me mention that my 1/8th mile times are in my signature. They were at a differant track then the one I was at tonight. I went to Muncie Dragway tonight in Muncie Indiana. Judging by my 1/8 mile times that I had I was hoping for 12.8's. I only got to run 1 time tonight before it start raining and they had to give everyone rain-checks. Well the run didnt go as planned. Here is my only time of the night.

60'.......1.997
330......5.636
1/8.......8.628
MPH......81.98
1000.....11.220
1/4........13.392
MPH.......104.28

I was thinking maybe it was bc my car falls off after 1/8th mile but thats not it bc. My 8.628 1/8 converts over to 13.3 1/4. I guess its just bc my 1/8th mile time was about .35 slower on this run. What do you guys think??

I wouldn't get down just because of one run. Just consider it a warm up. Your 60ft and 1/8th times were slower than before, something you may have worked out with a few runs. First launch at a track you haven't run at, probably take a few runs to adjust your launch to suite it.

It was humid today in Indiana, plus on Friday nights when all the street cars run muncie doesn't hook at all. I think you still have a good 12 where your car sits.....try US 41 on a sunday or something, it hooks pretty good from what I have seen.

Thanks guys. Your makin me feel alot better about this. You guys are right bc on the night I hit that 8.28, my very first run of the night was in the 8.6's.
I know that if I had a few more runs I could have gotten it into the 12's. But it was very humid out today and the car just didnt feel up to its potential. But we will try again next week and I will let u guys know. Anyone near the track should make a run down there next friday bc it is a good time if the weather permits. There are alot of cars there to have some fun with. C ya, Dustin.
