After about 15 hours in the past week i finally finished my LT header install. I was jacking the car down when the block of wood i had under the skid plate slipped and the car fell onto the jackstands PUNCTURING THE OIL PAN!!!!!! So now, what do i have to do to replace the oil pan? is the oil pump towards the front of the pan or towards the rear? I'm hoping i didn't kill that too.

 

ouch, plan on another looong day/s. pump is located in the back of the oil pan. lowest part of it. you have to undo the two motor mounts, jack the engine up as high as it will go, and lower the k-memmber slightly.

if you had a automatic you wouldnt have to drop the k-member
