This car is very streetable. When we put this motor together it was not built for gas milage but it consitantly pulls down 21-22 miles on the highway. This is a semi big hydraulic roller cam, but idles fine at 900-1000 and has little surge. This year alone we took the car along with mine on the Hot Rod Power tour ~1000 miles and been to Detroit for the 40th Anniversary celebratiton. No breakdowns, no problems. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.

So is the original poster happy with the car, setup, heads, shop and service? I know what I've posted about my experience, but I often wonder if the people that have followed behind feel the same?

He is very happy with the setup. The heads are excellent, as is the cam and intake from AI. They were great to work with and I have only the best to say for them and their company. I would recommend these heads to anyone. If you have questions for them the best advice I can give is to call Ron or Phil and let them talk to you at length about thier designs.

Since myself and my business partner put this motor together with some help from Penz I know he is happy. My partner and I have been building motors for a long time and Penz got first hand knowledge of how everything works and is put together.

Canton, We had to make a spacer for the alternator. Search for my name and you will find some pics of it.

Very nice, I am in the same boat with the 60 foot, but I can't seem to make myself buy a 12 bolt and put on some real tires. I'll bet that thing is a blast to drive on the street as a 6 speed.

My car is an auto, but it ran almost identical to yours with simular 60 foots and 2 less mph. I can just imagine how fun my car would be with a 6 speed like yours.

Very nice...High 10s with 60's in the high 1.40/maybe low 1.50 range seem very doable...121 mph seems to be the magic bubble for a 10 second pass if everything is as its supposed to be...Its nice to see more N/A LTX street cars with HR cams cresting the 120 mph mark...Again good job!

Not to be a killjoy or anything, but 10's at low 120's in a six-speed car is a tall order.

A better 60' is obvious...and some cars never have a matching MPH to ET....but who cares if you are hitting the ET?

I would love to see this thing get into the 10's at that mph considering it's a manual tranny car, but I just don't think it'll happen. Lots more variables need to be taken into consideration here because it's a six-speed.

It does make it harder...but I have seen enough low 12 second @ 104-106 mph cars that are stick shifts....leave like a bat out of hell.

It takes significantly more power to shave off tenths when in the 10's compared to the 12's. Those low 12 second cars.. were they full weight?

I agree with this statment.

However I think your results are very nice and you built a very nice setup!
