You put the line lock solenoid in the front brake line that runs from the rearmost connection on the master cylinder to the frontmost connection on the distribution block on the side of the ABS unit. You can get pre-bent lines from Thunder Racing, maybe a couple of other sources. You can't use the Hurst "universal" install kit, because the 4th Gens use metric fittings, with different sizes on each end of the line you have to cut into. You can get the metric fittings and you can make the "mushroom" style flare in the lines if you are mechanically inclined.

When you get done, you will notice that when you activate the solenoid, the "BRAKE" light will come on in the dash, due to the unequal pressure in the front and rear braking circuits, but as soon as you release the solenoid, the light will go out.

I used self-bent lines, and I'm not real happy with the way they look. If you get the TR lines, the solenoid goes in the same location, but need to be rolled over on its side.

Thunder Racing honestly expects people to pay $215 for a line-lock and installation kit!? That's insane. I have this one:

It costs $125, and it was a breeze to install. Very good instructions and a quality installation kit, IMO
