hub/ crank seal problems

Hello everyone, I have taken my balancer and hub off, and I need to know how exactly do I take the crank seal out, do I need to take the timing chain cover off to get it out, or can I just pry it out with a flat head screw driver?? Please someone let me know.

Re: hub/ crank seal problems

No RTV is needed, the seal has its own sealant, but using some more would not hurt any.
