HP Question

What kind of power am I looking at here with the following mods?

96 Trans AM
LT4 Hot Cam Kit
(Cam, Springs, Timing Chain)
1.6 Roller Rockers
Keith Black Forged Headers
Edelbrock Headers
Y-Pipe
Borla Catback
Moroso CAI w. ILE elbow
3.73 Gears
Trans Go Shift Kit
BMR LCA's and Panhard Arms

What kind of times am I looking at with drag radials?

Is this setup better for Nitrous or Turbo?

Thanks Guys!

Around 315-325 rwhp. High 12s-low 13s traction depending around 108-112 mph. With an awesome 60 foot, the times would go down a good bit.

It ran a 12.88 at ??? mph running rich with 2.73 gears so I was hoping for low 12's with 3.73s

Thats what I was thinking. You should be happy with those times. What was your 60?

The previous owner ran that time, I just bought it and put in 3.73s but havent had a chance to get it to the track or have it dyno tuned... though it needs it badly

Have a timeslip on that one. Seems odd for one he didnt know the MPH, also that seems little too fast IMO on street tires with 2.73s. Just my opinion

I believe he said it was on slicks - I found it hard to believe at first as well with only 2.73 gears but then I thought with slicks and an automatic it's possible.

Any idea why it's running rich?
Would I be better off getting it Dynotuned or sending my list of mods in to someone like PCM4less and having them burn a chip for me?

All advice is welcome

having a OBDII tuned is a real pain in the ***. You hafta ship your computer out to pcmforless.com and they program it there in house. The only other way is LT1 Edit, which is probably the best way to go, but I'm afraid Ill screw something up.

What are the stats on a Hot Cam? I heard I'd see around 320-340rwhp with the cam... did they have that mistaken with flywheel hp?

Ne local DFW shops have LT1 edit?

What else do I need to do to have forged internals?
