HP gains with Mac Headers

Has anyone gotten their car dynoed after putting on the Mac Headers with Y-pipe. I am thinking of getting these cuz they will be easier to install and be easier to pass emissions with.

I don't have any dyno numbers but I dropped 3 tenths in the quarter mile and gained 3 mph.

Nice. I am already running 13.62 @ 101.87 with a 2.1 60ft on Nitto DRs. When I get my new clutch hopefully I can run at least 13.3's or so. Would it be possible for me to get in the 12's just with a new clutch and Mac Headers?? Also, would running a cutout right after the headers help at all??

I've seen some cars dyno up to 35 horse gains with macs. Most average 25-30. I gained a little over .3 with mine. Very good headers, and the best for plug clearance my .02. I can change my plugs in less than 20 minutes.

Your time will be improved vastly by just launching better, 2.1 60 with DR's isn't too good. What kinda pressure you runnin in those things? I realize launching an M6 can be hard but just tryin to lend a hand

Re: HP gains with Mac Headers

Yea I know the launch sucks. They aren't spinning, my car just wants to bog even when I launch at like 4k. I get the best results by launching at 3.5k and slipping the clutch some, the problem is with this stock clutch once it starts slipping it doesn't want to grab in 1st. Picking up a SPEC Stage 3 soon, so that should fix the problem.

I have no dyno numbers, though I greatly improved my track times. Rest assure gains will be made using the Mac headers.
