How to stop my QTP electric cutout from leaking??

I wasnt sure where to post this, but since its on an LT1........here we go.

I just put on a QTP valve and it rattles and leaks a bit when fully closed. Has anyone rigged something up to stop this??

Put a VERY thin bead of RTV around the valve seat with it open. Allow it to fully dry. Then when you shut the valve it should seal well. Also, it will seal up a little with carbon as you drive the car more, but thats not really a "fix"
