Reuse Intake Gaskets?

They probably haven't even had 20 or more miles on them. I'm painting the manifold and putting bigger injectors in, think it's alright to reuse them? They're Fel-Pro's, if that matters.

I had a set on for less than 10 miles and replaced them.

You could probably get away with reusing them but for the money I think its worth the piece of mind to just replace them.

I would hate to have to do it a third time just to save 20 bucks or whatever the price is.

They should be okay to reuse..I talked to an engine builder and he said that the stock gaskets could be reused because they always come off clean and perfect. If you think about it the gasket isn't exposed to anything that would harm it.

Yeah, they look OK to reuse. Just wondering if anyone had done it before without problems or knew something about reusing them.

IF they come off clean, then go ahead and reuse them. I've reused felpro intake and oil pan gaskets without issue

I reused my intake gaskets about 3 times. Just make sure to use new sealer and do a good job of sealing the ends of the lifter valley.

Im going on 3yrs with over 10 take offs of the manifold. Right now they glued to the head so they are the same everytime it comes off. I use to put sealer on both sides but when I glued it to the head it sealed just as good.
