first get the haynes/chiltons manual so you have some documentation and it's nice to have if you do anything to your car.

It's real easy
-take off negative bat cable
-jack up car
-take off the wires attached to the starter
-take off the few bolts that hold it on
-pull it off
-installation is reverse of removal

I'd recomend getting a OEM starter if possible, I tried to put in a pep boys remanufactured one once it didn't fit right they wanted me to use shims and crap, I rather get a plug and play OEM if possible.

The easiest way for you to do it correctly and confidently is to go out and get yourself a Haynes manual at your local autoparts store for your year. It will have step by step instructions on where it is located and what order to do things in. You will use it a ton and is only 15 bucks.
