How to repair a broken window?

My driver side window is dying! The past week i would roll it down and it would go a few inches then stop. I let it cool off, try again, a few inches and stop. So... how do i fix this?

More often than not, the window motor is going out. Check my Tech Page for info on how to replace it.

That will work, but I have to wonder about the quality...

  • Designed as a short term fix
  • Offered as a lower priced alternative to our original equipment power window motors
  • Does not come with a warranty

You might want to consider a lifetime warranty motor from places like Autozone and others or even a GM motor.
