Lloyd Elliott Flow #'s are in

Just got an email from Lloyd Elliot and my heads are done. Here are the flow numbers.

.2 136/105
.3 190/149
.4 239/170
.5 268/183
.6 271/189

Heads are from a 94(Iron) Impala and valves are 2.0/1.56 Ferrea 6165/6161
and intake was ported to match heads.

Those are pretty much identical to mine.

Lloyd did my heads as well.

You'll be very happy with the results!

Did you go with the cam as well?

I went with one very similar, Comp 221/227 with .508/.525 with 1.5's. Seth at Combination Motorsports recommended it.

I was amazed at how the Impy heads flowed in the .2 to .500 lift range on the exhaust. Ended up a lil better than most aluminum LT1's.

I tried a lil different valve job on these Impy heads than I have in the past and it seems to have worked well. The #'s are just about the same as the Aluminum LT1's. They just seem to lay over a lil sooner on the intake no matter what I did. They never went turbulent and lost 20 CFM, they just seemed to STOP flowing. I guess it is the pushrod pinch since it can not be made as wide as the aluminum heads can be.

Regardless, the thing should have plenty of mid range power with that little XE 221/227 112 LSA cam.

Grip, Any dyno #'s yet?

Looking to get a baseline dyno run this weekend.

Here's a vid of what the car sounds like at idle with your heads and cam.
