Re: How to remove crankshaft sprocket

The crank sprocket is removable with a two or three jaw puller.

The second sentence I don't understand.

Re: How to remove crankshaft sprocket

There is a very easy way to remove the crank gear.

1) with a puller

2) with a hammer and a good sized flat head screw driver. Put the screw driver between 2 of the teeth closest to the dowel pin. Give a good wack and the gear will split in half and that is it. Just make sure you wack it and not hit it. I mean dont follow through because you can go through the gear and hit the crank. But you should be fine.
