porting the heads might give you some power
porting them well might give you some more
do a search, buy a book raise the roof
you might even gain some more with a bigger cam.

do you think a dremel would be good for the job? 'm thinking about getting one cause they can do just about anything.

Port them wrong and you will get less power, Do it right more power. If you have access to a flow bench I would flow them to see where your at and then flow them after. It's the only way to know for sure where your at. Just my .02
If you are going to attempt this, I would exercise caution. If you have any friends that know what they are doing, have them show you, or just keep them around. Die grinder, not a Dremel. Also, use the gaskets for a template. I'm having a friend do mine for me because I'm not comfortable enough with a die grinder yet

just the intake for now. i know it would be alot easier than doing heads.
i'm comfortable with doing the job.. i'm just curious as to what to watch out for. or technique.

you wont gain anything
i am fairly certain that raising the runner roof's in the manifold will improve the entry angle into the cyl head port. the injectors get in the way of this though and its a big pain. worth maybe 15hp and thats if you know what you're doing. not worth the time bud.
