How often do you do Brakes?
I was curious how often everyone does brakes on their car?
I did mine less than a year ago and the rear rotors are already warped. I think that the rear calipars will need to be replaced too. I don't know if the front rotors are warped or not. I've never thought that I was hard on the brakes.

I'm not asking about an interval for changing brakes.
I'm wandering if other have to replace rotors frequently due to warpage. What is a good brand of rotor that doesn't seem to warp quite as bad as others?

I have a '94Z with 75,000 miles. Driving is primarily of the "stop/roll" variety. I am on my second set of front pads and third set of rear pads (stock replacement parts). Rear rotors have been resurfaced.
I haven't had mine long enough to say on mine, but a couple friends of mine have had them for several years. One of my friends hasn't done a thing to his brakes and they're great. Hasn't even needed pads and he's had it for about 3 years now. I think he's put about 15k miles on it. Another friend of mine has done pads but thats about it.
74K miles here with orginal fronts having about 1/8" gap before the indicator hits the rotor. The rears were both totally replaced at around 30k after running over some barbed wire on the interstate. It got locked up all in the rear end and tore the hell out of both rotors. Sounded 10x worse than finger nails on a chalk board. It was a PITA to get out. I was about 200 miles from home too without any cutters.

SORRY TO HIJACK THE THREAD!!!
You had to pull the e-brake? Why couldn't you turn the car off?
BTW - never had any problems with the rotors, yet. ::knocks on wood:: I have lifetime warranty AutoZone brakes too, so I often change them before they really need it too.
