Did it bust your motor mounts too? I did something almost as stupid, however, I caught it before any big damage was done. It just bent the motor mounts.

the motor wasnt jacked up at the time. it just fell about 4" onto the jackstands, and the jack slipped right up onto the pan

PS is it easy to tell if you have a broken mount? Might as well check while i'm there. What are the dangers of running with a broken mount?

everything is fine as of now. I have good oil pressure and other than the alternator problem ( i broke something), shes running good for the time being
