I'm going to be changing my car to a more track driven than street driven car know and figured it could use a diet. Basically here's what I've pulled or am going to pull:
Rear seats and belts, front seats are going to be replaced with race seats, delete A/C, delete powersteering, pull sway bar, pull windshield washer resevior, and weld draglites. Can anybody tell me what kind of weight this will shave off. Also how much will the car weigh after this, it'a a full power manual trans T/A. Thanks guys

 

I just pulled the interior out of my car since it is not going to see the street anymore. I was curious so I weighed every thing. I pulled leather seats with power drivers seat, carpet, dash and air bags, everything.

After adding the weight of the race seat back in I lost 200 pounds from the car. The rest of the other stuff you mentioned will be coming off soon and I am going to weigh it all just to see. I'm afraid I will have to add the weight of a cage back in after I see some times next year.
