Well I put the guage on the motor at the port the egr valve solenoid was connected to and was pulling between 9 and 11 inches of vacuum. Does that sound about right? On the guage it says that the valve timing is late. I just readjusted my valves yesterday to 1/4 turn past zero lash on Comp R's

With my XE236/242, I'm pulling 12" of mercury at idle. Not too bad if you ask me.

Cool...maybe a little more tweaking on the valves will get me some more vacuum. Thanks

Just as a side note, the reference you have on your vacuum gauge for timing is meant for a stock cam. A radical cam throws that vacuum reference out the window.
