Find a local member who enjoys pain and helping others, beer+pizza (Maybe $50-100 cash)
I did it in my driveway without too much trouble.
Just needed good gaskets and header bolts.

how meny hours should it take a shop to do?
like a shop that has done lt1 headers a few times

They'll probably quote you 6-8 hours.
IIRC, they wanted 6hrs @83/hr for mine.
That's why I did it myself
It's a huge PITA, but a great learning experience.
I bet there's someone on the local Tulsa/OK city boards who does it cheap.

Putting the headers ON is NO trick,it's getting the old ones off(without breaking off any of the bolts in the head) and the welding to get the "Y" pipe to fit the rest of the exhaust 'cause it ain't a bolt on.
