How much to shim motor mounts to clear Canton 244t pan?

Hey folks I'm going to be installing my new engine in my Z28 in the next two weeks and it has a Canton 244t oilpan. I seem to recall having to shim the motor mounts 1/2" or move the rack mounting down 1/2", can anyone verify this? I'm going to contact UMI tomorrow and order a tubular k fame with the rack mount dropped but I want to make sure it'll clear.

I know it's an old thread, but can't find an answer to the same question, I have a 244t pan going in my 95 TA, but with solid motor mounts. I just want to make sure it will clear the steering rack as well.

I installed mine last week. I didn't have to do anything to my mounts and it clears everything fine. I have the prothane mounts.

u may run into issues with the oil level sensor. on the moroso pan just like the canton i had to move mine so it would fit with kooks lt headers.

Gotcha. Well if I have any figment issues with the oil level sensor and my Hooker LT's, I'll probably just delete the oil level sensor.
