As to the C5 comment. C5's are gay. Why buy a C5 when you can get a 2002 WS6 and have the same motor and a way better looking car. God i want an LS1 WS6.

On a serious note, yes that can be said for almost anything. For what I've spent on cars up until now, I could've had something far more epic. But at what cost? 5 boring years of no automobiles, and then I finally have... a nice stock car. What fun is that

I agree with everyone eles. Do alot mor research on these parts. If it was me i would go with a forged 355 and run a front mount turbo with intercooler and a good set up from AI. Call phil he is great to talk to and have heard many great things about his work. Do go overboard and spend all this money on off the shelf parts to have a 450rwhp car. Hell i could do that with a small shot of nos and a LE2 package and be alot cheaper. But to each his own and have fun with everything.

C5 gay? That's a matter of opinion, but I don't think so. Yeah, the WS.6 you reference and C5 share the LS1 engine, but that's about it. After that there is no comparison - the C5 is just superior in every objective comparison. Why buy a C5? They're cheap now, and it's easy to find a low mileage vette at a price comparible to what the LS1 WS.6 and SS were in '02.Back to the point, I agree with the 355/single front mount turbo set up, and definitely call up Phil at AI for head/cam information. You have decided to tackle a huge and pricey task - do your research thoroughly.

I realize this is my first post, but I usually just read and search on here (most all of my questions are answered using the search feature but until recently I had to create an account to search anyways..)
Your spending all that money and your getting a STS turbo? WHY? Do you know how those work?
For all that money I would be hard pressed to be a guiena pig for STS. I'd either do a blower or custom turbo setup.
