So how much power will I be giving up by running a 52mm TB w/ 38 lb injectors with a LE2 383 over a 58mm. I know lloyd recommends a 58, but I've got a good deal on an AS&M 52.

Imho no loss.

If you figure the VE and your max rpm.....I bet the stock one has plenty of CFM airflow to work fine.

But then again...I have never seen a h.p. gain from a bigger TB. Even changing one while on the dyno....never sean anything. Other than making more h.p I don't see a point in it. Maybe it drives better. A 52mm should work fine.....I bet you if you stick it on a dyno and swap a 58 back to back you will not find a gain

You beat me to it! I agree 52 is probably more than big enough for 90% of modded LT1's/

But I'd probably in line for one if someone came out with a 60mm tb for lt1s
