How much power am I losing????

I had my PCM tuned by MADZ28 for everything on the car. I told him that I planned on spraying a 100 shot on it. I am not sure how much timing he pulled from the car but I know its between 2-3 degrees. Anyone know how much power I am losing from the motor when I AM NOT spraying?? Thanks. Dustin.

Your not losing much at all. You probably wouldn't even feel it. Just make sure that the timing was indeed cut back before you spray it.

I have sprayed on it already. I had this done over a year ago but was just curious. I know it was takin out. I was right there with him when he did it. I am glad its not costing me much power.

Why would you have him "tune" it for spray? Logically, you tune it for the best NA performance, and adjust your timing externally with a timing box when you spray. That way you are sure that you aren't losing any performance when you aren't on the spray.

Because at the time, I planned on using the spray more then I have and I didnt have the money for a box, so I just had him tune it for nitrous rather then risking the motor. I am planning on getting a dyno tune at some point in time so I will have them fix it then. Until then I will just live with it.
