How much lighter with M6 than A4?

Anyone know the weight difference between an M6 car and A4 car? Im under the assumption that the car in M6 trim would weigh less.

Anyone know how much an A4, TC, flexplate, etc weighs compared to a T56 with bellshousing, flywheel, clutch, etc?

The T56 trans is a very heavy trans, 125lbs, so it's virtually the same weight as the automatic.

Really? Even with the auto TC? When I did the swap I remeber the A4 being really heavy also.

Did you drop the auto tranny with the fluid still in there?

Did you put the manual tranny in without any fluid in it (in pieces, no less)?

That might make up the weight right there. =)
