how much to install heads?

how much to install heads?
i put a hot cam in my 97z a while back and have on some mildy ported heads. I am looking to put some stage 2 heads and port the intake as well. How much am I looking at to INSTALL this combo? Is it worth it?

Unless you know somebody, figure on a grand for drive-in/drive-out service.

It depends on the shop/how many people they'll have working on it, etc.

I've seen people pay $500 and I called a shop and they wanted $2000.....I guess they knew what they were getting into
