I picked up a few tenths and a few mph in the 1/4, which means about 20hp. I just recently installed the Pacesetter LT headers now and gained an additional couple tenths and mphs.

im pretty inclined when it comes to the my car. How long should it take to unbolt the crappy stock manifolds and bolt the new ones up to the ypipe and everything. Also, is it a big sotp feeling.

Just curious, but why go with the shorties when there's plenty of mid length designed headers out there that will provide a much better platform now and in the future for mods.

Shorties bolt to stock y pipe. Mids use aftermarket.

FWIW...my '94 Camaro would totally smoke my '94 trans am (i owned both for about 9 months and drove both of them back to back...even had my friend drive the T/A while i was in the camaro before)...T/A was stock cmaaro just had flowmaster catback, hooker shorties and y-pipe, and CAI. I know i also had the catback and CAI in place to help out, but the difference there was night and day.

EDIT: the y-pipe is also larger than stock and mandrel bent...so i'm not sure how much affect that is going to have with you running the stock one.

w/ stock y-pipe you will see 10rwhp on a dyno, just realize that at the track you will gain more than .1, should get like .3 or so gain, and like 2-3 mph gain.

my Mac's are still on and one of the best buys I have made, dont let the longtube dealers on this site tell you they are crap. I have heard it enough! I will say that eventually when I stroke it to a 355 I MIGHT get longtubes, only because then I might see 5 rwhp gain from one to the other... at most

Went with Mac headers and ypipe on my 94 and I picked up 5mph at the track. I am sure LT's would have gained a little more.
