How much blow by oil thru PCV is too much?

I installed an inline filter in my PCV hose to collect oil to see how much I got. After about 600 miles I got roughly a teaspoon of oil collected in the filter bottom. Is this fine or should I have none? I have 88,000 miles on it.

If you are having no driveability problems, smoking, oil consumption or anything else, I would say it means nothing. Sure, none would be perfect, but you have 88k and unless you are going to tear your engine down and rebuild for a teaspoon of oil, I would not worry about it.

Just guessing, I would say that most LT1s with those miles do the same. I would also guess that a little bit of that oil would drain back into the engine if it were not trapped by the filter.
