How many say no to radiator stop leak?

I have what appears to be a small leak above my sensor. Its not coming form the low coolant sensor or around it just above it. Its not coming from the cap and not from the over flow tube. Its like my radiator has formed a small crack in the plastic. So my question is...as a temporary fix, is radiator leak repair additive a good thing, or does it clog stuff up in the core? The leak is minimal and seems to go away as the pressure rises (weird). Thanks for any help.

i, personally, dont like to put anything IN the radiator to stop leaks. i would suggest using some JB weld or something on the crack itself to seal it off. JMO

Good call on the JB Weld, I didn't even think of that. I only need it to work for like 2 weeks, then my new radiator will be here.

Cool

Yep, stop leak is the poo poo ! Find your leak, use some carb cleaner or alchohol and spray it a lil, scuff it with some sand paper, clena again, then lay the JB to it. I had JB on a radiator in an old ford for about 3 months until it met an untimley demise in a creek bed
The Key to JB is mixing it well, and leaving it on for about 12 hours before messing with it. I'm currently plugging a hole in my fuel rail about the size of a penny (stupid AN fitting ) with no problems
