How many Quarts of oil?????

How many Quarts of oil?????

i have looked thru the manual over and over and it dosent say it....how many quarts of oil does an LT1 take??? i have always had mine done at the garage (convience) but now im gonna do it myself and i was like wtf? so yea ikno someone knows please i need info... so i can go buy some royal purple!! stuff's the best i hear....

I think they call for 5?

Mine takes about 5.5 but I have a nice oil cooler on mine which soaks up some of that extra half a quart.

Why bohter going to Royal Purple if you ran cheap oil ( Garage) all this time? Get some M1 and call it a day.

whynot change to royal purple now? changing oil drasticcly like that dosent improve ur engine????
